Because Airbnb’s insurance and policies only cover registered guests, we DO NOT allow anyone that is not accounted for onto the property, even if they do not plan to stay the night. Unannounced guests will result in a $100 per guest, per night, charge to your account AND you will need to vacate immediately. Trash - The trash and recycle will need to be taken to the curb on THURSDAY for Friday morning pick-up. We are happy to move the bins if you prefer. Please be aware that the driveway is long and gravel, but the bins must be taken down in order for trash to be collected. Septic This cabin is on a septic system; it cannot handle food scraps, wipes, nor toiletries. Toilets can only handle septic-safe toilet paper. Do not flush hygiene products, wipes, nor excessive tissue, EVEN ONES MARKED AS FLUSHABLE, as this will cause a blockage and render all plumbing unusable. My family and I had a wonderful time at Poconos Peak. Communication with the host was top notch just like the home itself. From the stylish, modern decor to the comfortable furnishings, and well stocked kitchen and bathrooms, everything was perfect. Upon entering, we immediately felt at home. My kids greatly appreciated the variety of games to play, especially since it was rainy and cold during our stay. One of our favorite moments was when a small herd of deer peeked through the glass door while passing through the serene property that was tucked away but still incredibly close to all we needed/wanted to do and see while in town. We would highly recommend Poconos Peak and can’t wait to book our next stay!
