- Parts of the access road are gravel. 4-wheel-drive is not required but is recommended, especially in inclement weather. - Please ensure all guests are accounted for within your reservation. We DO NOT allow anyone that is not accounted for onto the property, even if they do not plan to stay the night. Unannounced guests will result in a $100 per guest, per night, charge to your account AND you will need to vacate immediately. - There is a 50lb limit per dog, with 2 dogs max permitted. - This cabin is on a septic system; it cannot handle food scraps, wipes, nor toiletries. There is a basket in the kitchen sink drain to stop food from going down; empty this basket into the trash as needed and at the end of your stay. Toilets can only handle septic-safe toilet paper. Do not flush hygiene products, wipes, nor excessive tissue, EVEN ONES MARKED AS FLUSHABLE, as this will cause a blockage and render all plumbing unusable. - All trash must be BAGGED and TIED in kitchen-sized 13 gallon bags, then placed in the outdoor trash bins. The trash company does not have a dump truck; they pick up each bag individually. Dog poop bags must be bagged as well. Cabin in the woods was a beautiful getaway for a long weekend. From sitting on the porch with a fire, a warm dip in the hot tub, to meals (a well stocked kitchen) with family, it was an unforgettable weekend. The kids loved ping-pong and shuffleboard, along with the ability to ride a scooter in the driveway. Probably the most noteworthy (surprising) thing besides the view was how comfortable the beds were! Elisabeth was available promptly to any questions. We would most definitely be back to experience the relaxation and togetherness this cabin provides!

WOW what a beautiful cabin! It looked exactly like photos online and was even more beautiful once you walk in. The mountain view from the main balcony is just breath taking. Truly picturesque! The home was modern, well decorated and offered our family of nine (5 adults, 4 teens and 2 dogs) great space. The kitchen was well stocked for all the meals we prepared while there! Everyone enjoyed the pool table, shuffle board and ping pong downstairs. Elisabeth was amazing and very responsive! We requested a late check out and she responded so quickly to my last minute request. I will most definitely return.

The hosts were pitch prefect, always responsive and no fuss. The place was as described, straightforward to find and easy check-in. Large driveway (we parked 7 SUVs). Inside is what you would expect from the profile - a nice mountain home, clean and comfy with ample space. The view from the back porch is very nice - tree tops and mountains, perfect for autumn with a morning fog that floats like a lake above the trees 👌🏾. Very peaceful neighborhood. This cabin is situated such that it is private but not isolated. Perfectly relaxing.

We had an excellent stay at the cabin. The living space was so grand and at the same time cozy, loved sitting in the comfortable leather chairs and looking over the amazing view out the floor to ceiling windows. We enjoyed the fire pit, and on our last day when it was a bit rainy we enjoyed the screened in porch fireplace. More firewood than we could have used during our stay was provided, which we appreciated. Also loved that the hot tub was under the upper deck so we could still enjoy on our rainy day. The all wheel drive vehicle was definitely necessary to get up the gravel, steep road - but the views were worth it at the top!

This cabin has the most beautiful view of the Blue Ridge Mountains!!! We loved being able to sit on the inside porch by the wood-burning fire or the main upper porch with unobstructed views of God's beautiful nature. The lower porch with a swing right by the hot tub and the fire pit were so nice also. Although the one-way drive up the mountain was steep, it was so worth it! The cabin was well-stocked and spacious. And added blessing was an unexpected early check-in. We really enjoyed this peaceful cabin!
